Exciting New Features Released on Podsmart AI: Enhanced Podcast Summaries and Topic Alerts

We’re thrilled to announce our biggest update yet at Podsmart AI, designed to make your podcast experience more efficient and insightful. This release includes two major features and numerous enhancements, all aimed at advancing our mission to leverage AI for smarter content consumption.

1. Redesigned Episode Summary Pages

Our episode summary pages have undergone a complete makeover, offering a more intuitive and user-friendly experience across all devices—whether you’re on mobile, tablet, or desktop. Here’s what’s new:

• Advanced TL;DR Summaries: Get concise, AI-powered summaries that deliver the essence of each episode.

• Interactive Media Player: Now always on-screen, our media player shows where specific topics are discussed, allowing you to jump straight to the content you care about.

• AI-Powered Chatbot: Engage with an AI chatbot trained on the episode’s content for deeper insights.

Plus, we’ve added three experimental features that preview our future vision:

• Entities Sidebar: See a sidebar that highlights key entities (people, places, products, etc.) discussed in the episode.

• Concept Mindmap: Visualize the connections between concepts in a dynamic mindmap.

• Q&A Section: Access follow-up questions and answers derived from the episode’s content.

2. Topics and Alerts (Beta)

We envision a connected knowledge ecosystem where users can follow specific topics—such as Nutrition or Sleep—and receive real-time alerts. With our new Topics and Alerts feature, Pro and Premium users can now:

• Follow Topics of Interest: Choose topics and receive email alerts when they’re mentioned in podcasts you follow or in new content tracked by Podsmart AI.

• Get Summarized Alerts: Receive a summary of the discussions around your chosen topics, making it easier to stay informed.

Podsmart AI's Topic Library - we process thousands of hours of podcasts daily, and they all feed to our Topic Library where you can view and follow them.

Your Followed Topics and Alerts - users can create their own custom topics and receive summaries and alerts when they are discussed in media they follow or Podsmart AI Library.

Enhanced Infrastructure and Summarization Algorithm

To support these features, we’ve significantly upgraded our information processing infrastructure and improved our summarization algorithms. Our small but mighty team of two has achieved remarkable results, paving the way for future innovations.
